Our Team
- Lai Hoong Chan is an experienced consultant. She has spent 20 years training and mentoring young people in the workplace, including hospitality management for major multinationals. Her knowledge of many Asian cultures means that she can advise clients on how to adapt to Australia. Lai Hoong speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Bahasa.
- Duncan is an expert in communication and is principal consultant of Ear and Speak Linguistic Consultancy. He has many years' experience as an accent and communication trainer, with a background in university research and teaching. Duncan has worked in Australia and Europe, and has travelled widely in Asia. His understanding of the difficulties faced by people from different cultures means that he can also provide support and advice about cultural awareness issues. - Laurie has worked for many years with people working in high-stress and high-ambition areas, successfully helping and motivating them. His clients have included sporting teams, police organisations, and rehabilitation services, as well as individual clients needing assistance with stress and anxiety. Laurie believes improved self-confidence is the key to mental fitness in times of stress.
- Denise has fifteen years in career management and job placement for the government and small companies. She has also spent 25 years in the finance industry with experience in insurance, retail, legal, stockbroking and banking areas. She has worked in Europe and Australia in a range of organisations.
- Debbie is an experienced linguist and pronunciation trainer. She lectures and does research in pronunciation and forensic phonetics at the University of Melbourne.
- Pamela Rosewarne has worked as a psychologist for many years in the education sector and in private practice. Her work involves the assessment and treatment of educational and social-emotional difficulties. Pamela works to improve and enhance educational achievements, vocational outcomes, and the social and emotional development of students.
- Michael is a highly qualified workplace trainer with extensive experience with large and small enterprises in the UK and Australia, and the RTO and TAFE sectors. His many roles have included sales and management training and working with people from all backgrounds, from students through to senior management. He brings a relaxed, professional style to training in cultural awareness, negotiation, workplace rights and more.
